Immobilising

Operation

The vehicle is equipped with a reader, and depending of the authorization and access rights of the person carrying the transponder, the vehicle start interruption is being released for a predefined amount of time.

The basic function of the start interruption release works like an electronic contact key. The start interruption is released when the access rights of the transponder have been verified. The transponder access rights have to match the immobilising unit's access rights.

Attributes:

• Universally applicable;
• Simple and easily extendable with the customer's wishes;
• A one-time investment per vehicle;
• Low per-user cost;
• No operational cost;

Functionality of Immobilising systems

Default RFid Immobiliser:

• Release of one link contact during a given time. (Can be set via Windows software).

Optional:

• External relais (24V/30Amp) to control start relais;
• Extra link contacts (max. two);
• USB interface;
• One or multiple times transponder access;
• Timestamping;
• Registration;
• Working hours counter (hardware modification, in port);
• Black-listing (blocking certain transponders);
• Analog or digital input: collision detection, temperature, GPS;
• Alarm and timestamping: min/max comparator function;
• Expansion of I/O contacts (max.32);
• Wireless connection on short or long range.

Default pc software:

• Programming of transponder with identity and/or access rights;
• Save data to file;
• Programming of RFid immobiliser unit with access rights and period length of link contact;

Optional:

• Programming of transponders for one-time use;
• Setting the RFid Immobiliser unit's date & time;
• Programming of transponder with time validation;
• Reading registration and log files and export RFid Immobiliser unit information to MySQL table;
• Import of employee data from data files (ie. an Excel spreadsheet, but other formats are possible too);
• Reading the working hours counter;

Transponders:

• read / write XP+ : to be used for identification, granting access rights with high security
